Nora and I went to Ghana Cafe for drinks last night. Unsurprisingly, there was a Ghanaian keyboard player there who wouldn't leave me alone. Apparently, he had been looking for a woman like me all his life. The really wonderful thing is that this guy went to the university where Nora will be studying this fall. He's also really well-connected in Accra. It really couldn't hurt to email him for some tips, and if he could get her tours and stuff, like he promised, that'd be great. It would even make my putting up with him worth it.

Maybe. It's not like she'd go anywhere alone, though, and it's a program. If she got a tour or a tip about a concert, it wouldn't be bad, right?

Now I'm actually somewhat paranoid. It is fine as long as she doesn't actually meet up with his people or go anywhere alone, right?

Haha, well, I'm glad you didn't go off on me for extreme naivete.

I don't know how off I am, since the place was full of other, equally enthusiastic Ghanaians and I figured limited contact might be okay.
